Winners awarded in bodybuilding, athletics sport

Final matches and awarding ceremonies in the Inter-Ministry and Inter-State and Region competitions of the Fifth National Sports Festival 2024 took place at relevant stadiums and gymnasiums in Nay Pyi Taw   yesterday.   

The Bodybuilding and Fitness Physique sports at the Inter-State and Region level of the 5th National   Sports Festival 2024 was held at Myanmar International   Convention Centre II in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.   

Among the spectators were State Administration Council members Mahn Nyein Maung, U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw, Union Minister U Min Thein Zan and officials at the Bodybuilding and Fitness Physique   sports events.

The Myanmar Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation president, regional and state ministers and SAC members U Shwe Kyein and Mahn Nyein Maung   presented prizes to the winners in the men’s 70-kilogramme bodybuilding event, men’s 75-kilogramme event, men’s 75-kilogramme and above event, men’s 160-centimetre sport physique, men’s 160-centimetre and above sport physique and women’s 160-centimetre   model physique, respectively.   

SAC Members U Shwe Kyein and Mahn Nyein Maung awarded winners in the women’s 160-centimetre   and above Model Physique event and women’s Fitness Physique event.   

Similarly, the awarding ceremonies in the Inter-Ministry Athletics Sports of the Fifth National Sports Festival   2024 took place at Wunna Theikdi Stadium.   

Union Minister U Myint Kyaing, Union Auditor   General Dr Khin Naing Oo, members of Union Election Commission and the member of Union Civil Service Board presented prizes to winners in the men’s javelin, men’s 110-metre hurdles, men’s chained shot put, women’s chained shot put, men’s high jump, men’s 200-metre race, women’s 200-metre race, women’s 400-metre relay   race, men’s 400-metre relay race, and women’s high   jump events, respectively.   

The final matches and awarding ceremonies of the   2024 Fifth National Sports Festival will continue on 16 December at the respective stadiums and gymnasiums.
