SAC Chairman PM Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets Malaysian PM, ASEAN Rotating Chair

Both leaders emphasized ASEAN solidarity and pledged continued support for Myanmar’s earthquake recovery during the Bangkok talks.

Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, held talks with ASEAN Rotating Chair Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, in Bangkok, Thailand, yesterday evening.

At the talks, they cordially discussed continuous aid from the ASEAN community for the rehabilitation of the earthquake-affected Myanmar with solidarity, and cooperation measures of the Myanmar-ASEAN community.

Also, present at the talks was former Thai Prime Minister Mr Thaksin Shinawatra.
